Working Groups

To assist the Executive group of the partnership in achieving the aims and objectives of it's strategy - a number of sub-groups operate. These include;

These working groups meet on an as and when required basis to discuss the implementation of developments, monitor the progress of these and plan against the main strategy.

Such work could include discussions behind arts initiatives, summer playschemes, funding applications for the toy library, support to families through childminding and sure start funded initiatives and the planning of festivals, training and awareness raising events.

Membership is often drawn from working practioners or management / development staff that have an 'on the ground' working knowledge and are in the position of being able to progress plans.

Sub-groups report to the Executive group via a strategy update report which is produced for each meeting. Sub-groups are also able to bring forward any issues to the Executive group by requesting them as an agenda item.
